KIMIAFORM (Polyacetal)

Kmiaform is a registered grade of polyacetal alloys (POM) of Kimiaforooz Company, which has low friction coefficient, excellent dimensional stability, good mechanical strength and low moisture absorption. High erosion and fatigue resistance allow polyacetal to be used in spring applications. Another important advantage of POM is its resistance to solvents. This polymer is also well resistant to oil and grease. Because of high crystallization rate of polyacetal, short molding cycle is required. Its excellent resistance to water makes it suitable for use in showers, faucet cartridges, sprinklers and utensils. Also, its resistance to solvents and fuels allows it to be used in fuel systems, pump parts, pipe fittings, valve fittings and carburetors. Its excellent mechanical properties allow it to be used in the manufacture of small gears, camouflage, tools and zippers. Due to its excellent dimensional stability, this polymer is commonly used in small gear molding instead of nylon (usually nylon used for larger gears due to its impact resistance). This polymer has a variety of other applications such as making furniture, door handles and bottles. Kimiaforooz Company offers polyacetal  products to its customers in the form of glass fiber reinforced.
